OLAPLEX: What is it and why do you need it?
OLAPLEX – PREVENTING DAMAGE, REPAIRING HAIR, AND GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR COLOUR
The word ‘Olaplex’ has fast become a regular part of every day conversation at hair salons around the world and for good reason… At InSalon we believe it’s one of the best products on the market for colour clients.
To put it very simply, when you colour your hair you have to break through natural barriers for the colour to set permanently. When it does so, your natural (or previously treated) hair colour is stripped away to make room for your new colour. The more extreme the transformation, the more time this is going to take.
The most important thing to do when you colour your hair is to repair the broken barriers with special conditioners, and nothing does this better than Olaplex.
OIaplex has a patented active ingredient that works on a molecular level to repair hair damaged by chemical, thermal and mechanical processes. If you are a regular colour client who takes great care of your hair, Olaplex will help provide the ultimate breakage insurance. If you like to experiment and go for more extreme transformations, Olaplex will restore the compromised hair and repair it from within.
The benefits of using Olaplex are wonderful:
- Stronger & Healthier hair
- Less breakage
- Longer lasting colour
- More vibrancy
There are 2-3 stages of the Olaplex process. Clients with the most damaged hair will require stages 1-3, while many will only require 2 & 3:
- The Bond Multiplier – Rebuilding broken hair and beginning the process of preventing further damage
- The Bond Perfector – Further rebuilding and restoring any remaining broken hair to ensure the strongest, shiniest and healthiest hair possible
- The Hair Perfector – Used once per week at home, this product provides continuous protection while away from the salon
Please come in for a free consultation to discuss the look you desire, and we will explain the steps and products necessary to achieve the healthiest and most vibrant colour possible.
